This version of Lexinomicon requires that version 1.4.2 or later of the Java Virtual Machine (or JRE) be installed. Version 1.5 is optimal. Be sure to download
and install the JRE specified above before running the installer. To determine which JRE you have installed open your Control Panel and open the Add/Romove Programs application. Once it is open scroll down to the J's and you will see (it it is installed) which version of Java you have installed. If it is not 1.4.2 or greater use the above link to download the 1.5 JRE.

Additionally you need to have Quicktime 7.0 installed. Quicktime is downloadable from Apple's Quicktime site.

Be sure the above programs and files are installed before attempting to install Lexinomicon.
Instructions
- After downloading,
double-click
lexinomicon_installer.zip
to expand the installer. Then double-click lexinomicon to run the
installer. This will install Lexinomicon in your Program Files
directory in a directory named Lexinomicon. To run Lex go to the
Program Files/Lexinomicon Directory and double-click the Lexinomicon
application.

- Lexinomicon runs best on OS X 10.4 and JDK 1.5. As a minimum it requires Mac OS X
10.3 or later.
Instructions
- After downloading,
if the installer does no open automatically double-click
Lexinomicon3.14Release
. Drag the Lexinomicon folder to your applications folder. To run Lexinomicon go to the
Lexinomicon Folder and double-click the Lexinomicon application.
- Create a Profile
and download and open a Workbook.
