Macedonian mosquitoes decided that some of the members of the group (Nkosi and Abby) were tasty treats and decided to feast on them while they were sleeping. It proved to be a rough night for those poor girls. The bus ride wasn’t that bad. It only lasted for seven hours. Half of us spent that time passed out, so it went by quickly. Lunch consisted of roadside spanikopita near Thermopylae. But Laura did find some interesting gummies shaped like little pig’s face. That made all of us wonder, ‘What does that taste remind me of?’. Traveling south was like watching our trip in rewind as we passed by sites we had seen in the past month. It was very odd to see those little brown archeological signs pointing in the opposite direction we were going. The day that Caleb has been waiting for, the semi-finals for Euro-Vision start this evening. We are terrifically excited to be going to the islands tomorrow, although Katherine has a fear of propeller planes.
