Today Laura unleashed the beast when she terrified an innocent group of pigeons. Climbing onto statues in Trafalgar Square proved extremely difficult, but we prevailed in the end. We had our very last pub meal at lunch, including bangers and mash, and jacket potatoes. The pub proved a small world as one of the waitresses happened to be from a small town near Katherine’s small town in Minnesota. In the late afternoon, many of us went to Wagamama’s for noodles, on Abby’s recommendation. Though a few of us got take-out and waited until the airport to eat, it was definitely worth the stop. In the evening, we all pulled a few muscles when we dragged our bags to the tube stop to catch the train to Heathrow. We finally made it onto the plane, where a few us of spent some time trying to decipher the Captain’s Greek.
