We were once again kicked out of a museum. One of the guards became very agitated with Professor Rutter because he kept stalling our exit. The hotel is really nice – despite going at student rate, we have beautiful rooms in what appears to be one of the nicest hotels in Heraklion. The desserts will be the death of us all – some, such as bougatsa, they claim are breakfast foods. We were given an assignment today. We were obviously enjoying ourselves too much and now must work for our bougatsa and tiropita. We remain hopeful that the sun will come, but until then some of us are wearing long johns and hoodies to bed. We hope that you all are enjoying spring and that it is nice and warm wherever you are.
