As we were leaving the Palace of Nestor today, we passed a group of elementary school kids on their way up to the site, all tightly clutching their crayoned, three-dimensional paper models of the megaron. It was adorable enough to make an FSP student wish for coloring projects instead of papers.
Our peanut butter sandwiches (with Skippy. Thank you Sparta!) reached the height of sophistication at lunch, with the options of Nutella, jelly, and/or banana.
A member of our group, who wishes to remain anonymous, had a run-in with a cactus while leading two others on a shortcut on the way down from Lepreon. No injuries were sustained, although many a cactus needle had to be removed from her shoe.
